PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Interfaces with other departmental supervisors and managers to determine manufacturing, and maintenance requirements and provide proper support. Oversee all aspects of the operation. Responsible to plan and schedule Maintenance Department activities listed below.

During the construction phase of the factory, his mission will be to make sure that all the works executed by the contractor(s) are on line with requirements. He will coordinate the reception and installation of the machines and equipments and will be responsible of their commissioning

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified candidate must be a self-starter and a dependable individual that, while working within the guidelines of their authority, is capable of independent thought and action.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) are a mandatory requirement.

• Must have the ability to manage large and small projects through completion and follow through.

• A minimum of five years of prior supervisory experience, in a maintenance-oriented environment, is required.

• The ability to work with a wide variety of people, often times in a demanding environment, is a pre-requisite.

• Must be able to ful fill all requirements listed in the Maintenance Mechanic “A” job description.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: • Identify current and future maintenance requirements. • Maintains an active participatory role within the Safety Committee to ensure issues are addressed in a complete and timely manner. • Achieves departmental financial objectives through budget planning and cost estimating. • Ensures systems are in place for production support operations. • Supports product and process development and improvement. • Maintains contact with current vendors and service personnel and develop others as required. • Maintains Equipment Parts Inventory. • Designs, implements and modifies Preventive Maintenance, training, personnel development and other programs. • Plans and executes plant shutdown activities to maximize preventative maintenance repairs on equipment and other related work to the facilities. • Direct involvement with repetitive breakdowns and major equipment problems
